San Francisco Human Services Agency (SFHSA)
SFHSA provides financial assistance to nutrition, health care coverage, employment, and protective services, our dedicated professionals are here to lend support for all in need.
- Food Assistance: SFHSA can provide assistance to buy or receive food
- Health Assistance: SFHSA can help you access free or low-cost insurance
CalWORKs provides temporary financial support, as well as job training, education, child care, and counseling, to pregnant women and eligible families with children under age 19.
County Adult Assistance Programs (CAAP)
CAAP provides cash assistance to low-income adults without dependent children, adults that cannot work, and refugees. CAAP may provide up to $619 a month and other benefits for services including employment training and placement, free MUNI pass, and counseling.
Benefits CalWIN (BCW) is the fast, easy way for California residents to get the help they need. They provide medical, food and cash assistance to those who are eligible.
