We know that it can feel overwhelming to think of new activities every day, but you don’t have to do it alone! These online resources can help you find new activity ideas by age, interest, or educational subject:
- Zero to Three Activity Guide for Children Ages 0-3
- PBS KIDS for Parents Activity Finder for Children Ages 2-8
- Plinkit's Activity List for Children Ages 2-8
- Khan Academy Kids App and Suggested Activity Schedules
Here are some of our favorite online activities in Spanish:
- Las Mañanitas Preescolar is providing Spanish language content for little learners. Subscribe to Las Mañanitas YouTube channel and check out their videos.
- San Francisco Public Library is hosting live virtual Spanish storytimes on Saturday mornings at 10am on IGTV @sfpubliclibrary.
- Tandem, Partners in Early Learning has storytimes in Spanish and other languages. Visit Tandem’s video library on YouTube and be sure to read the description of each video for tips to spark a conversation.
- Sésamo on YouTube features Elmo along with our other furry friends singing, dancing, counting, and more!
- Molino Cuento releases three short traditional audio stories every week, with the option to get them in your email inbox.
Replay the stories, songs, and videos at your convenience and access them on your phone, iPad, computer, or other devices. Our friends at the library encourage you to repeat and replay these activities with your children because “repetition is a great way for children --and --grownups to learn.”
