If you received the stipend in the Fall 2020 round, you must reapply for the Spring 2021 round. The application is open April 1 – April 30.
Here’s how to apply:
Log-in or create an account in ECE Workforce Registry at https://www.caregistry.org.
- Select “Stipend & Pathways” on the left hand side.
- Complete the information.
- Review your information and select "Confirm and Continue"
- Select "San Francisco CARES 2.0 (Compensation and Retention Early Educator Stipend)"
- Select "Continue to Application"
Fill out applicationa. Check off up to two boxes for Pathway goal
b. Select the Stipend Period for which you are applying: Spring 2021
c. Select the Course Type: Professional Development.
d. For Institution/Organization Name: Type in “Retention in ECE”
e. For Units Enrolled/Completed: Type “0”f. For Unit Type: Select “Hours”
g. For Student ID (College/University Only): Leave blank
Select "Submit Stipend Application"
Submit a W-9 to Children’s Council if you are applying for the first time or your name or address has changed. Choose one of the options below:a. Upload in the Workforce Registry to "My Documents"b. Mail to:
You do not need to submit another W-9 if you applied for a Fall 2020 stipend and your name and address have not changed. We only need a new W-9 if the information we submit for your taxes has changed.
