San Francisco is committed to vaccinating all residents, as well as those who work and go to school in San Francisco FOR FREE.
If you get either the Pfizer or the Moderna vaccine, you must get 2 doses to be fully vaccinated. If you get the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, you only need a single dose. To be considered fully vaccinated for either vaccine, you must wait until two weeks after your last dose.
Vaccine eligibility:
- Anyone 12 years old and older can receive the vaccine
- Children under 18 years old can get the Pfizer vaccine, so check if your site has it available when you book
- Children under 18 years old must get parent or guardian permission, unless they are emancipated or legally self-sufficient
